Pakistan

Take an adventure trek or expedition in PAKISTAN with World Expeditions, one of the world’s leading travel companies.
Pakistan is home to an ancient civilization, one that rivals the early Egyptian civilization. Pakistan's land borders total 6,774 kilometres with Afghanistan to the northwest, China to the northeast, India to the east and with Iran to the southwest. The landscape of Pakistan is varied. In the south natural features range from sandy beaches, lagoons and mangrove swamps. In the west dry hilly deserts are found and to the east are the rolling sand dunes of the Thar Desert.
It is in the north of Pakistan however that World Expeditions operates our range of trekking and mountaineering adventures in Pakistan. Within the many icy peaks of the Himalaya, Karakoram and Pamirs mountains there are an estimated 108 peaks above 7000 meters with five of these mountains (including K2 and Nanga Parbat) over 8000 meters. The huge peaks and glaciers of the Karakoram have long inspired mountaineers, trekkers and travellers in search of wild and rugged places. The Pamirs, a chain of rugged yet exquisitely beautiful peaks and valleys, are an exciting playground for trekkers and climbers wishing to appreciate a wilderness where few have gone before.
