Mont Blanc Ascent

Firstly may I just say I absolutely loved the Mont Blanc trip, and when talking to the other climbers who had gone with other agencies, our trip had the best mix of mountain huts, walks and training, so thank you, it really was superb.

Cycle the Dordogne

The Dordogne region has long been appreciated for its magnificent countryside and important historical sites including the Benedictine monastery in Souillac and the castles and fortified towns which overlook the Dordogne and Vezere rivers. During these six days of cycling there is ample opportunity to explore these towns as well as the vertical city of Rocamadour, the Lascaux caves and the surrounding landscapes encompassing the stunning black Perigord.

Brief Itinerary

DAY 1 Arrive Souillac
DAY 2 Begin cycle to Rocamadour (32km)
DAY 3 Cycle through the forest to Gourdon (34km)
DAY 4 Visit the Cougnac caves enroute to La Roque Gageac (32km)
DAY 5 Follow the Dordogne River to Les Eyzies (52km)
DAY 6 To the medieval town of Sarlat (54km)
DAY 7 Continue along the Dordogne to Souillac (31km)
DAY 8 Trip concludes Souillac
