Larapinta Trek

We had a wonderful time on our recent 8 day Larapinta Trek. The trip was made all the more enjoyable by the assistance of our guides Adrian and Craig. Their flexibility, steady temperaments, knowledge, friendship, experience, sense of humor and ability in the kitchen took all the difficulties out of our experience. Nothing was too much trouble, and everything that should have happened happened, and happened when it should have. They made the whole experience for us a simple walk in the bush. We could not reccommend them more highly.

Canyon to Cradle Mountain Trek

Trek the wild and rugged region between the Leven Canyon in the north of Tasmania, and Tasmania's Cradle Mountain National Park on this pioneering itinerary designed for experienced walkers seeking exciting new challenges. Following one of Tasmania's lesser known walking tracks, this bushwalk offers a true wilderness experience and you will encounter some of the less visited ranges in Tasmania. The 60km track begins with a walk through the wild Leven Cayon, followed by open traverse of mountain ranges with open woodlands, rainforests, button grass plains, sub-alpine herb fields and stands of ancient King Billy, Celery Top and Pencil Pines. Walking approximately 15 km per day the first 2 days re carrying packs that weigh around 15 kgs, then the last 4 days we walk with a daypack only. This tour is also ideally combined with our Overland Track Tour from Cradle Mountain to Lake St. Clair.
