Everest High Passes

...we shouldn't finish without mentioning admiration for the endlessly busy Mr Lama. He like all World Expeditions staff we met, was very charming and knowledgable, this characteristic seems to be a requirement for employment with the company

Everest Base Camp High Flyer

One of the world's most famous treks combined with a thrilling helicopter ride across the Himalaya. Our adventure begins with the intoxicating sights and sounds of the amazing city of Kathmandu. Taking a flight to Lukla, we commence our trek through Sherpa villages to the gateway of the Everest region Namche Bazaar. This is the Sherpa heartland, and as we ascend higher we emerge above the tree line to experience the most dramatic mountain panoramas with views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori and surrounding peaks. Our itinerary allows time to visit Everest Base Camp and climb Kala Pattar before taking a helicopter flight from Lobuche back to Kathmandu, to complete a most memorable journey in the Himalaya.
