Great Wall Trek

I so appreciated to spend those days close to the Wall and not just to “fly in” for one day. This enables me to get a bit of a “feel” for the country. To be with the Chinese crew also was a privilege I won’t forget. Our tour guide gave us valuable insights. I am thankful that I could be part of this challenge, it was worth it.

Hike and Bike China

China is a country of vast natural and majestic man-made wonders that can never fail but impress. To experience the real China, join our hike and bike adventure which commences in Beijing and ends in Hong Kong. Explore the wonders of Beijing including the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. Wander along a remote section of the Great Wall and cycle through the old hutongs. In Xian we cycle the city walls before viewing the thousands of Terracotta Warriors. Continuing southwest to the colourful province of Yunnan. Here we discover the Naxi people in the World Heritage town of Lijiang then hike through one of the deepest and most stunning gorges in the world, Tiger Leaping Gorge. We save the best for last as we cycle the picture book limestone landscape of Yangshuo that has inspired painters and poets for centuries. We complete our trip upon arrival in the vibrant, fast paced city of Hong Kong.
