Sinai Trek

King’s Bruton has enjoyed an excellent partnership with World Expeditions for many years. As part of our popular Gap Year Programme we rely exclusively on WE for the management of our fund raising expeditions each year. We have experienced nothing but professionalism, dependability and commitment to our ethos. At the locations of our expeditions we have found the local ground agents to be highly reliable and well respected in their communities. World Expeditions have delivered first rate experiences for our teams in North Africa and in the Sinai Peninsula and we look forward to many more years of effective partnership.

Sinai Trekking Charity Challenge, Egypt

Ancient civilisations and desert cultures are combined with hiking to the heights of Mount Sinai & snorkeling in the Red Sea on this inspiring challenge which captures the pulse of this fascinating country. Accompanied by our Bedouin guides we trek high into the mountains of the Sinai, including a climb on Egypt’s highest peak, Mt Catherine as well as a dawn ascent of Mt Sinai where we climb in Moses’ footsteps. After a relaxing day by the Red Sea coast we fly back to London.

World Expeditions operated its first trip to Egypt in 1982 and we continue to find this destination fascinating.

This itinerary can be lengthened with extra time in Cairo or on the trail. Due to current regulations camping is currently not permitted in the SInai. When this ban is lifted we suggest the camping version. On the non camping version we return to the town of St Katherine's each night and stay in dorm style accommodation at a Bedouin village. Sleeping bags are not required on the non-camping version.

NOTE: THIS ITINERARY AND COST IS BASED ON A PRIVATE GROUP WITH MINIMUM OF 10 PEOPLE. IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO JOIN AN OPEN CHALLENGE, VISIT OUR SINAI TREK OPEN CHALLENGE  PAGE FOR DETAILS.
