Mount Cook Aoraki Ascent

As for the Mt Cook trip, it was absolutely brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed it and the 10 day course taught me a lot! I'm already thinking of what I would like to climb next.... Possibly something in the Himalayas. Just need to keep up the fitness (and save up a lot of money!!).

Otago Rail Trail Explorer

Our travellers tell us that the Otago Rail Trail is as much about the cycling as it is about discovering the intriguing reality of life in the Maniototo Basin. This itinerary has been designed to ensure you have enough time to soak in the rich history and spectacular landscapes along the iconic Otago Rail Trail from Clyde to Middlemarch. Each day you'll enjoy sensational cycling as you pedal your way to explore the historic works along the way, including the beautifully engineered water canals from past gold mining days and the secrets of St Bathans, with its stunning blue lake and character filled pub. The farm tour and optional curling will bring you in closer contact with the delightful local people and throughout the trip you will enjoy some great food and superb wine. In addition to your explorations, travel by train out to Dunedin via the spectacular Taieri Gorge. traveller reviews

I just wanted to send through a big thank you! My girlfriends and I were in NZ last week and cycled the rail trail with Adventure South and had a wonderful time. Lots of fun! Lots of cycling... chatting...sightseeing... met some lovely people... ate some yummy food.. drank some delicious wines... made some great friends. Our two non cycling grannies were with us as well and they also had a great time and were very well looked after! Rossco and Nick were our tour guides and very much helped make the trip the great holiday that it was. So... thank you again!
