Mount Cook Aoraki Ascent

As for the Mt Cook trip, it was absolutely brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed it and the 10 day course taught me a lot! I'm already thinking of what I would like to climb next.... Possibly something in the Himalayas. Just need to keep up the fitness (and save up a lot of money!!).

Far North Explorer

This exploration of Northland, the very north of New Zealand, combines remote camping with intimate active experiences to provide a rich and memorable journey. You'll head to the 'winterless north' via Taupiri, Tauranga and Whangaroa Bays where you can sand-board massive dunes, walk through an old whaling station, snorkel in clear waters and camp in secluded locations. Continuing even further north to the stunning 90 Mile Beach and Cape Reinga, you'll watch the Pacific Ocean and the Tasman Sea clash to create what is known as the tidal race. You'll also visit Cape Maria van Dieman as well as Waipua Forest, home to the best examples of Kauri forest left in New Zealand including Tane Mahuta and Te Matuua Ngahere, the two largest living Kauri trees. There is much Maori mythology around this region and as you travel through it you'll gain a great insight into the Maori culture and customs as well as enjoy a 'hangi', the traditional Maori meal cooked underground.
