Best of the West

I recently had the pleasure of doing the "Best of the West" through World Expeditions/ATW. I must commend to you the most excellent experience we had with our tour leader. He was exceptional in his attention to detail, his knowledge, his sense of humour and his thorough professionalism. Well done and thanks for a truely marvellous trip.

Cycle Prague to Vienna - Guided

The Greenways cycle trails are a collection of routes linking Prague and Vienna. This specially designed trip follows the section south of Prague, from the hills of Cesky Krumlov to the east along the Austrian border. Passing numerous medieval towns where castles and impressive squares dominate, the route offers both diversity as it traverses national parks and wine country and a full appreciation of this captivating pocket of the Czech Republic. Crossing the border at historical Mikulov the route heads south through Austrian vineyards, fields and villages before reaching the cultural city of Vienna.

traveller reviews

The bike trip was terrific! Guides were great – thoughtful, responsible, creative, trustworthy, and very strong bikers. Equipment was fine. Group members were easy and supportive of each other, and the countryside was beautiful. The hills were a challenge, but mostly manageable. I was often exhausted at the end of the day, but the alchemy of food and sleep each night did the trick, and I’ve come back in better shape than when I left.
