Andes Adventure

I had an amazing trip! A once in a lifetime experience, and memories I will cherish forever ... the entire experience from booking to trekking was exceptional, I couldn't expect higher standards.

Hidden Treasures of Northern Peru

This extraordinary touring adventure explores little visited treasures, hidden fortresses and spectacular mountain scenery, uncovering northern Peru at its best. We commence in Lima and fly across the Andes to Chiclayo, where pre Incan civilisations prospered for centuries. From here we venture further north to the village of Cocachimba, our base for a foray through the cloud forest to the spectacular Gocta falls, the highest in Peru. The ancient citadel of Kuelap, centrepiece of the pre Incan Chachapoyas culture and one of the most impressive buildings anywhere in the Andes is next on the agenda. A breathtaking drive will bring us to one of the finest royal tombs ever uncovered in the Americas at Sipan, followed by exploration of the huge desert site of Tucume, whose massive pyramids enthralled the great explorer Thor Hyerdahl. Our journey will take us to the small fishing port of Huaca de la Luna, and on to the largest ancient mud city in the world - Chan Chan. We'll venture on to Huaraz, nestled amongst the Cordillera Blanca where walks amongst the mountains will captivate and inspire.
