Larapinta Trek

We had a wonderful time on our recent 8 day Larapinta Trek. The trip was made all the more enjoyable by the assistance of our guides Adrian and Craig. Their flexibility, steady temperaments, knowledge, friendship, experience, sense of humor and ability in the kitchen took all the difficulties out of our experience. Nothing was too much trouble, and everything that should have happened happened, and happened when it should have. They made the whole experience for us a simple walk in the bush. We could not reccommend them more highly.

Flinders Ranges by Bike

The countryside of the Flinders Ranges seems purpose built for cycle touring. The rolling hills flow toward the high craggy ridges and the smooth gravel track leads on through the river red gums. South Australia is leading the way with cycle trail development and this guided and supported cycling tour brings together all the best rides and scenery in one amazing itinerary. The Mawson Trail provides a range of rides through the North Flinders ranges, these are supplemented by some fantastic backroads through the gorges to give a complete experience of the Flinders Ranges at handlebar level. The cycling is moderate graded, although the day's rides are designed to be satisfying for more experienced riders, yet achievable for those on their first cycle tour. With vehicle support, the length of rides each day can be varied to suit the riders. Utilising a range of comfortable country and outback accommodations, you will also have plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the local hospitality and stunning scenery.
