Larapinta Trek

We had a wonderful time on our recent 8 day Larapinta Trek. The trip was made all the more enjoyable by the assistance of our guides Adrian and Craig. Their flexibility, steady temperaments, knowledge, friendship, experience, sense of humor and ability in the kitchen took all the difficulties out of our experience. Nothing was too much trouble, and everything that should have happened happened, and happened when it should have. They made the whole experience for us a simple walk in the bush. We could not reccommend them more highly.

Freycinet Walk

Discover the serene pristine beauty of Freycinet National Park, located on the eastern coastline of Tasmania. Over three memorable days our experienced guides will assist you to explore its secluded bays, white sandy beaches and sheer granite cliffs with highlights including the stunning Wineglass Bay and the Friendly Beaches. The area is easily recognisable with its turquoise waters, orange granite headlands and the striking peaks of the Hazards appearing to rise out from the ocean. During the day you will only be required to carry a small backpack containing your personal items. In the evenings you will return to your cabin accommodation, where delicious meals are prepared for you.

Brief Itinerary

DAY 1 Depart Launceston, travel to the east coast for an afternoon walk at Douglas Apsley National Park
DAY 2 Full day exploring the Freycinet Peninsula National Park, Wineglass Bay and the Isthmus Track to Hazards Beach & Lemana Lookout
DAY 3 Walk to the summit of Mt Amos, the most prominent summit of the Hazards Range. Alternative walk is to explore the remote Friendly Beaches, then return to Launceston via the Eastern Tiers Forest Reserve.
