Mera Peak Expedition (6476m)
Mera Peak (6476m) is the highest trekking peak in Nepal and a suitable challenge for a first-time climb in the Himalaya. Our specially devised itinerary allows optimum time for building fitness and acclimatisation - key factors that have contributed to our success record. On our trek - that leads though the traditional Sherpa villages of the Solu Khumbu and the blue pine and rhododendron forest trails of the Hinku Valley - you appreciate why we have selected this magnificent approach to the base camp. Fully acclimatised we ascend to a high camp just below Mera La and prepare for our attempt on the main summit of Mera Peak. The ascent is not technically demanding and unequalled views of Everest, Lhotse and Makalu will more than satisfy your aspirations on this fine Himalayan climb.

This was a brilliant trip. I went last year with a local outfit, so I can compare. Seriously, there was no comparison.
World Expeditions trip was superb, the organisation was great, the leader Bikesh and his Sherpa climbers were outstanding and the people on the trip made it a special experience. Although WE cannot control the other clients, we were lucky in that even the Sherpa’s said we were the best group they had ever seen for interaction and camaraderie, and 12 out of 13 summited.
Even the bad weather and choppers to get us out to Lukla at the beginning , were organised well (including the forms required for the insurance cover).
I will have no hesitation in recommending WE to others and will definitely be using you guys again.
