Mount Cook Aoraki Ascent

As for the Mt Cook trip, it was absolutely brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed it and the 10 day course taught me a lot! I'm already thinking of what I would like to climb next.... Possibly something in the Himalayas. Just need to keep up the fitness (and save up a lot of money!!).

Otago Rail Trail Family Adventure

At Adventure South we 'almost' understand kids. Families of past trips have provided input into the design of this itinerary - the early dinners, shorter cycle sections, and if all else fails, we always have a friendly guide and a support vehicle for help. This adventure will have your family cycling back in time to New Zealand's rural past along a trail that has been specifically converted for walkers, mountain bikers and horse riders - with no motor vehicles allowed. The Trail follows the old Central Otago branch railway line from Clyde to Middlemarch, passing through many towns along the way. This trip is not just about cycling but rather exploring the many towns and abandoned gold diggings as well as meeting the locals. The tour starts in Queenstown and finishes in Dunedin allowing the opportunity to extend your holiday and explore these exciting towns.
