Magara Primary School Project

I am writing to let you know how much I enjoyed the recent trip to the Magara secondary school project in Tanzania and how wonderful the World Expeditions staff were. Our guide was a fantastic source of information and really helped us a great deal but also allowed us a lot of freedom to work things out for ourselves. The group was great and we hope to keep in contact as much as possible. The staff at the secondary school and the students were memorable and I wish them all the best and also to the people who attend the project next year.

Piedmont Cycle

Occupying a large area bordering France and Switzerland, Piedmont is the ancient dominion of the Savoys, the ill-fated royal family who ruled Italy from the Unification in 1870 until abdication in 1946. This trip allows you to cycle through the stunning countryside and vineyards of the regions of Langhe and Monferrato. Each day cycle past small villages and enjoy panoramic views over rolling hills. Piedmont is also a region where food comes first, with a host of specialities in an area which boasts centuries old culinary traditions and outstanding top quality produce appreciated throughout the world. You will have the opportunity to sample Alba truffles, excellent cheeses, and the renowned Piedmont wines.
