Antarctica was truly amazing.... Once we hit the Peninsula we had the 2 most amazing days, blue skies, ice, wild life, scenery. Absolutly stunning! The ship was great, good facilities. The crew was absolutly fantastic. Very approachable & informative. It was a very family like atmosphare. The food was delicious and plentyful. And the scenery & wild life.........wow!

South Georgia & Weddell Sea

This voyage combines a rich insight into the pioneering spirit of the early Antarctic explorers with the impressive glaciers and wildlife regions of the Weddell Sea. We commence our journey heading across the Drake Passage and into the cool iceberg filled waters of the Weddell Sea. Weather permitting, we will explore the fossil rich islands and numerous wildlife sanctuaries of the region before making our way onwards to the South Orkney Islands. Following in the footsteps of Ernest Shackleton we trace his epic journey of survival from Elephant Island to South Georgia. Our time in South Georgia will be spent visiting rookeries with literally thousands of King, Macaroni and Rockhopper Penguins. For the more adventurous amongst us, the opportunity to participate in an alpine crossing of the island, adds another dimension to our time here. The remarkable rugged beauty of South Georgia will leave an indelible mark before we bid farewell and continue sailing to the Falkland Islands where we explore the prolific wildlife of the surrounding islands before returning to Ushuaia.
