Kilimanjaro Shira Route

Just got back from Mt. Kilimanjaro with my son (we both made it to the peak) and the experience exceeded my expectations in every regard. It was better that I had hoped for and I want to thank you very much for all the assistance, hand holding, and help before the trip. I had never done anything like this, but I can't wait to try it again.

Southern Parks of Tanzania in Comfort

A fine introduction to the southern parks of Tanzania is our remote lodge located on the banks of the Ruaha River in the heart of the reserve. Surrounded by a diverse range of landscapes from grasslands to escarpments and mountains as well as pretty riverine areas, it is no surprise that such contrasting environments provide for some diverse wildlife. Early morning and afternoon game drives will showcase all that Ruaha National Park has to offer as well as the opportunity to enjoy a walking safari with the lodge's naturalist guide. We link the Ruaha Park with a short flight to our next destination, Selous Game Reserve. Covering an area greater than Switzerland, Selous is the single largest wildlife preservation area in the world. It's home to Africa's largest populations of Wild Dog and its rivers and tributaries attract bountiful numbers of elephants, hippopotamus & crocodile. Our delightful luxury tented camp on the shores of the Rufiji River lends itself to safaris on foot, by boat and in custom built 4x4 vehicles. This is an excellent opportunity to visit two of Tanzania's most untouched parks where lodge development is embryonic and tourism numbers low; translating to a very special quality safari experience.
